
Looking for a convenient source for mostly vegetarian and vegan fare? A new spot has you covered. Called Mighty Love Food, the newcomer is located at 155 Milk St. in the Financial District.
It's a quick and casual counter-order restaurant for healthy breakfasts and lunches. In fast-casual style, you'll be invited to build your own bowls or sandwiches with ingredients like quinoa, bulgur wheat, vegan mozzarella, squash ribbons and kimchi. Not vegan? Add additional protein in the form of Cajun shrimp or rosemary chicken.
Nutrient-rich muffins, topped toasts and overnight oats with bloomed chia seeds, coconut milk and a berry puree are also on offer.
Mighty Love Food has already attracted fans thus far, with a 4.5-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp.
CeeCee R., who reviewed the new spot on Sept. 10, wrote, "Great healthy new lunch option near my office. I recently have to be on a gluten- and soy-free diet, so this place is my new go to. The decor is so cute and can't wait to go back there soon."
Yelper Sarah H. added, “The ingredients are a level above other healthy options in the area. Toasts, smoothies, mighty muffins. All delicious.”
