A new wine bar has made its debut in the neighborhood. The new addition to Fenway, called Nathálie, is located at 186 Brookline Ave.
Sibling (daughter?) to Downtown Crossing's Haley.Henry wine bar, Nathálie offers an evolving list of wines exclusively from independent female producers from around the world. Everything is available by the half-bottle, encouraging exploration.
A menu of small bites is available for pairing, including a set of three montaditos, or small-sized sandwiches, that includes one with anchovies, butter and parsley, and another of grilled eggplant, spicy mayonnaise and crispy garlic.
With a three-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp so far, Nathálie Wine Bar is still finding its footing.
Jack E., who reviewed the new spot on Aug. 23, wrote, "Natálie wine bar features both a fantastic (but small, specific) wine assortment and delicious bites to accompany. The service here is outstanding, friendly and helpful."
Yelper Alex H. added, “Bartender was super knowledgable and gave us great recommendations. The GM made a point to stop by and chat with us, which was nice. Lovely staff, ambiance and wine. Next time, we'll go for the cheese plate, too.”
Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Nathálie is open from 3–11 p.m. on Monday-Wednesday, 11:30 a.m.–11 p.m. on Thursday and Sunday, and 11:30 a.m.–midnight on Friday and Saturday.
