Looking to chow down on some Italian fare? A new spot has you covered. Called Orá Trattorizza, it is located at 653 Boylston St. in Back Bay.
The owners of Piattini Wine Café on Newbury Street are behind this newcomer. It offers a lunch menu of salads, brick-oven pizzas, pastas and panini. The dinner menu adds "trattoria comfort food," like fried calamari with pickled peppers and picante aioli, and baked goat cheese. Swordfish, short ribs and a seafood paella are other dinner options.
A full bar means martinis, manhattans and negronis are on offer. There are also signature cocktails like the Italian Greyhound (Hendrick’s gin, Campari, red grapefruit juice and rosemary with a champagne float).
With a five-star rating out of nine reviews on Yelp so far, Orá Trattorizza has already made a good impression.
Richard N., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Aug. 12, wrote, "They have the most amazing pizza. The wine selection is very good; they have pairings for each course on the menu. Don't skip over the salads; they are very well built by the chef, and are surprisingly large portions."
Yelper Dana L. added, “Delicious Italian food and lovely ambiance. Their brick-oven pizza is fantastic. We also had a great pesto pasta. Lots of outdoor seating, as well.”
Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. Orá Trattorizza is open from 11 a.m.–11 p.m. on Monday-Saturday and 11 a.m.–10 p.m. on Sunday.
