Looking to chow down on some Argentine fare? A new spot has you covered. The new downtown arrival, called Patagōn, is located at 1610 Second Ave. on the ground floor of the Charter Hotel.
The upscale Argentine restaurant, with a kitchen helmed by executive chef Brandon Cathey, serves locally sourced grilled meat, fish and vegetables and is open from breakfast through dinner. Expect menu options like gaucho sweet breads, morcilla (blood sausage), empanadas and bife ancho steak.
Thirsty? Argentine-inspired cocktails and a selection of wines from Washington, Argentina and other regions are on offer.
With a 4.5-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp so far, Patagōn is off to a promising start.
