1. FireBox Deli

Topping the list is FireBox Deli, situated at 4707 Lyndale Ave. North in North Minneapolis. With 4.5 stars out of 134 reviews on Yelp, the popular eatery is the highest-rated spot in the city for barbecue.
Menu offerings include smoked brisket, ribs, pulled pork, chicken wings and rib tips, which are sold by the half or full pound or as a platter with a choice of two sides. 2. Scott Ja-Mamas

Scott Ja-Mamas, a spot to score barbecue and more in south Minneapolis, is another much-loved go-to, with 4.5 stars out of 48 Yelp reviews. Head over to 3 W. Diamond Lake Road to see for yourself, but don't forget to bring cash or check as this establishment doesn't take credit cards.
The eatery's menu focuses on ribs and chicken, and ribs can be purchased in quarter rack, half rack and full rack increments. Expect half and quarter chickens as well. Pork, steak and grilled chicken sandwiches are also on offer, as are sides like potatoes, coleslaw, dinner rolls and baked beans.
3. Ted Cook's 19th Hole BBQ

Then there's Ted Cook's 19th Hole BBQ, which has earned four stars out of 124 reviews on Yelp. You can find the Powderhorn fixture at 2814 E. 38th St.
