Chicken shop Pollo Regio has opened its doors in North Arlington. Located at 1050 N.E. Green Oaks Blvd., it's a Mexican-style eatery that offers mesquite-grilled chicken. Based out of Texas, most of its locations are in the Metroplex.
On the menu, offerings include a whole chicken, chicken soup, the chicken Monterrey platter (seasoned chicken breast with cheese and pico de gallo on top, served with rice, beans and side salad), chicken mole (served with rice and tortillas), chicken quesadillas, chicken burritos and more. The new chicken shop has made a solid impression thus far, with a 3.5-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp.
Jamie F., who reviewed the eatery on Sept. 2, wrote, "Very clean restaurant and attentive service. They just opened, so still working out some kinks, but the owner seems very dedicated to providing top-notch service. Workers were friendly too."
Barb J. added, "It was pretty good. Lots of meat in the quesadilla. It comes with a shell with sour cream and guacamole. I also had a small nacho with queso and jalapeños."
