A new casual steakhouse and bar has made its debut in the neighborhood. Located at 6501 S. Cooper St., Suite 101, the newcomer is called Ranch Hand Steakhouse.

On the menu, steak options include the N.Y. strip, ribeye, sirloin and filet mignon. All steaks are USDA Choice Black Angus. You can add on sautéed mushrooms, sautéed onions, grilled shrimp or seared scallops.

Additionally, you'll see dishes like the pork chop, Texas quail and Chicken Under a Brick. Sides include Dr Pepper baked beans, creamed corn with pork belly and steakhouse fries. It also offers seafood, salads, soups and more.

Yelpers are fans of the steakhouse so far: It has a five-star rating out of eight reviews.

Alan N., who reviewed it on Aug. 25, said, "This place is awesome. The food was incredible, our server was great and the atmosphere was what you want in a good steakhouse. I highly recommend this restaurant. It will be great for date night or just a family outing. Prices are very reasonable and the food incredible."

And Yelper Breanna G. noted, "Best place to get steak in the Metroplex! The staff is all friendly and helpful, and the food is to die for. They're doing everything right and are only going to get better."

Hungry? Stop by and welcome it to the neighborhood. Ranch Hand Steakhouse is open from 11 a.m.–9 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday, 11 a.m.–10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and from noon–9 p.m. on Sunday. (It's closed Monday.)
