A new spot to score tacos and more has debuted in the neighborhood. The fresh addition to Southeast, called Silvia's Mexican Tacos & Snacks, is located at 7301 Matlock Road, Suite 133.
On the menu, you'll see options such as the tacos (corn or flour tortilla, plus your choice of fajita, pastor, chicken, barbacoa or chicharrón), elotes, fruit cups and more. The spot also serves menudo and pozole on Friday and Saturday, as well as daily breakfast dishes like the migas (eggs, corn tortilla, onion, tomato and jalapeño) and the chilaquiles (beans, eggs, sour cream and white cheese).
Silvia's Mexican Tacos & Snacks has proven popular thus far, with a five-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp.
Jose M., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on September 8, wrote, "This place is so amazing. I love the food there. [It has] one of the best tacos de pastor I've ever had [and] [the] fresas con crema are to die for!"
And Yelper Dan H. added, " We're so happy to have some delicious tacos, tortas and fresh fruit snacks closer to home! Very friendly staff, clean and new."
