Need more hot dogs in your life? Hoodline crunched the numbers to find the top hot dog outlets in Minneapolis, using both Yelp data and our own secret sauce to produce a ranked list of where to meet your needs.

1. The Wienery

Topping the list is The Wienery. Located at 414 Cedar Ave. South in Cedar - Riverside, the diner is the highest-rated spot for hot dogs in Minneapolis, boasting four stars out of 190 reviews on Yelp.

On top of a variety of hot dogs, expect hamburgers, wiene-wiches and sides. Notable hot dogs include the hot and spicy Tasmanian Devil; the Ray Dog with mayo and raw onions; and the Briny Dog with kraut, pickle and spicy giardiniera sauce. Check out the full menu here.

2. Uncle Franky's

Next up is Uncle Franky's, situated at 728 Broadway St. NE in Northeast Minneapolis. With four stars out of 144 reviews on Yelp, the casual eatery has proven to be a local favorite.

Uncle Franky's offers to-go orders, has a dining room and also caters. Look for hot dog options such as the Coney Island chili dog with yellow mustard and raw onions; the Corn Diggity Dog served on a steamed poppyseed bun; or the Northside Maxwell sausage with grilled kraut and onions. Burgers, sandwiches and sides round out this spot's menu. 

3. TILT Pinball Bar

Whittier's TILT Pinball Bar, located at 113 E. 26th St., Suite 110, is another top choice, with Yelpers giving the arcade and cocktail bar, which offers hot dogs and more, 4.5 stars out of 43 reviews. TILT has 20 classic and current pinball machines and offers a plethora of mixed drinks and beer to pair with signature hot dogs.

Signature wieners start at $9 and visitors get to choose between regular, poppyseed or gluten-free buns. Upgrade to pork sausage for $1 more. Check out menu options such as the #5 with kimchi, mayo and sesame seeds; the Volcano Dog with habañero pepper jack cheese, hot sauce and jalapeños; or the mac and cheese dog with pasta, breadcrumbs and chives. 4. Walkin' Dog

Finally, over in Downtown West, check out Walkin' Dog, which has earned 4.5 stars out of 24 reviews on Yelp. You can find the hot dog shop at 618 Second Ave. South.

Established in 1991, look for ballpark hot dogs, polish sausages, bratwursts and turkey dogs along with a number of sides including baked beans, potato salad, popcorn, chocolate chip cookies and nachos. Daily specials are also on offer. Here's the full menu.
