Interested in checking out the newest restaurant and retail additions to Summerfields? From a burger joint to a barbecue, read on for a list of the newest hotspots to open their doors in this area of Fort Worth.

BurgerFi

BurgerFi is a burger and hot dog joint. This is the national chain's first location in Fort Worth and third overall in DFW.

It offers burgers like the CEO (double wagyu/brisket blend burger, candied bacon tomato jam, truffle aioli and aged Swiss cheese) and the Breakfast All Day Burger (Angus beef, American cheese, bacon, maple syrup, fried egg, hash brown, grilled onions and ketchup). (See all of its burgers here.) 

You can also score veggie and chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, fries, onion rings, shakes and frozen custard.

With a four-star rating out of 16 reviews on Yelp so far, the new addition is getting solid feedback from clientele.

Phil M., who reviewed it on October 24, wrote, "Ordered some burgers last night for the family. First time having a BurgerFi burger and was pleasantly surprised, one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. Ordered online and picked up at the store quick and easy, no wait."

Jared B. noted, "Amazing service. The food here is exceptional. Definitely a must-try if you're looking for something out of the norm. They have a variety of options for everyone."

Palio's On Tap

Palio's On Tap is an Italian spot, offering pizza and sandwiches. It's a spinoff concept of local chain Palio's Pizza Cafe, offering beer and wine on top of the normal menu.

On the menu, you'll find pizza, sandwiches, pasta, salads and more. Its pizzas include the Watson (Alfredo sauce, spinach, pepperoni, garlic, feta and bacon), the Stella (wing sauce, roasted chicken, mozzarella, cheddar and garlic topped with ranch dressing) and the Il Diavolo (pepperoni, sausage, jalapeños, habaneros, banana peppers, wing sauce, cheddar, spices and mozzarella). With a 4.5-star rating out of 11 reviews on Yelp so far, Palio's On Tap has already made a good impression.

LaTieya P., who reviewed the new spot on September 28, wrote, "I called 30 minutes before they closed and they still took my order. I tried the antipasto salad, the King Pizza and tiramisu for dessert. I was very pleased with all my  choices."

And Kristen S. noted, "Very friendly and attentive staff. They came by multiple times to check on us and make sure everything was great, that we got everything, and to ask if we needed anything else! Food tasted great as well."

Lone Star Bar-B-Que

Lone Star Bar-B-Que is a spot to score barbecue and more.

The menu has a selection of barbecue meats, including sliced brisket, pork ribs, pulled pork, turkey breast, chopped beef, hot links and more. These can be served on a plate with two sides, on a sandwich or by the pound to go. (See the full menu here.)

With a 3.5-star rating out of 96 reviews on Yelp so far, the restaurant is off to a solid start.

Yelper Rachael S., who reviewed the new location on July 9, said, "Very friendly! It was my first time there and didn't know what to order and they helped. The brisket is very tasty with barbecue sauce. Very comfortable environment."

Marlena T. added, "I think the ribs and brisket are to die for. The sauce, no, all the sauces they have are amazing. It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but the sauce isn't thick and the flavor is delicious!"
