Homecoming concert with Steve Aoki and Bea Miller

Two-time Grammy-nominated electro house artist Steve Aoki headlines the University of Minnesota's annual homecoming concert. He has collaborated with The Chainsmokers, Linkin Park, Snoop Dogg, among others. Expect a lot of bass at this show.
Aoki is joined by New Jersey-born singer-songwriter Bea Miller, a 2013 finalist on the TV show "The X Factor." She recently released her sophomore album, "Aurora," which followed her three-chapter EP.

Hocus Pocus Bar Crawl

This "Hocus Pocus"-themed bar crawl will start at The Pourhouse and attendees are encouraged to dress as their favorite character. The Pourhouse will feature dancing, drag and burlesque shows and a grand costume contest. Next, the attendees will split into four groups and will receive the schedule of bars and beers for the day. Each location will have a theme and a special event to partake in. This event is for those 21 years or older.
When: Saturday, Oct. 6, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Spring Musical Movie Premiere

Lake Harriet Players will reveal its spring musical on the silver screen at a special movie night that will feature popcorn, treats and "lots of glitz and glam." Wanna get comfortable? This event is pajama-attire acceptable: Bring your pillows and blankets. Donations will be accepted at the door and will support the musical.
When: Saturday, Oct. 6, 6-9 p.m.
