Hungry? A new counter-service restaurant focused on healthful fare has you covered. Located at 2919 Knox Avenue St. in Uptown, the new addition is called Brim.

The bright, modern eatery features a patio and serves up several vegetable-packed bowls, along with local beer, wine and bakery items.

On its website, the restaurant says it offers curated bowls "filled to the brim with as much local, organic, plant-focused goodness that we can make from scratch and fit inside."

Create your own bowl or look for favorites such as the Smokey Pulled Beef & Chipotle bowl with grains, kale, cauliflower gratin, grass-fed brisket and avocado, and the Thai Coconut Purple Potato with turmeric brown basmati, coconut, purple potato salad, baby kale and organic chicken. Here's the menu.

With a four-star rating out of seven reviews on Yelp so far, Brim has made a promising start.

Johnnie H., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Sept. 24, wrote, "The first thing you'll notice is the beautiful design of the place to match its location. They have fast-casual bowls and baked goods. You can try a suggested bowl or build your own from a variety of grains, veggies, proteins and sauces."

Kyle L. added, "Place is amazing. Great ambience and even better food. Really like the wine selection. The Piazza Grande Rose was my favorite."

Head on over to check it out: Brim is open from 11 a.m.–9:30 p.m. on Tuesday-Sunday. (It's closed on Monday.)
