Hungry? A new Chinese restaurant has you covered. Located at 6145 Windhaven Parkway, Suite 120, the Plano newcomer is called La Chine. It's in the space formerly occupied by Uncle Gino's Italian Kitchen.
On the menu, you'll see dishes like the Beijing-Style Crispy Duck Breast with Mandarin pancakes and hoisin sauce; the All In Fried Rice with beef, shrimp, chicken, barbecue pork and snow peas topped with a fried egg; and the Wok-Seared Diver's Sea Scallop with sake ginger sauce and garlic veggie fried rice. (See the full menu here.)
With a four-star rating out of 12 reviews on Yelp so far, La Chine has gotten a good response.
Yelper Calvin H., who reviewed it on Oct. 8, wrote, "Fantastic food and service. The Sichuan dumplings are the best appetizer in town. Entree highlights include the lemongrass prawns, the scallops, the Mushroom Trio Clay Pot, the All In Fried Rice — I could go on, but it's all good."
Jim M. noted, "You are missing something if you don't eat here. High quality Chinese food cooked by Chinese chefs. Reasonable prices. The very friendly owners are always on-site. "
