A newcomer to downtown Minneapolis, Tavola Italian Kitchen + Bar recently debuted in the Elliot Park Hotel at 823 Fifth Ave., offering Tuscan-inspired cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Look for breakfast options like Polenta Spiedini with polenta, wood-fired shrimp skewers, fontina and tomato, and the Alba Panini with sliced cured ham, basil pesto and scrambled egg on baked ciabatta.

At lunch, there are wood-fired tortas, including one with roasted seasonal vegetables, pizzas and options like the wild boar stew. In the evening, indulge in fire-roasted ravioli with walnut pesto or chargrilled steak. View the menu here.
