Achilito's Taqueria
38 Hyde Park Ave., Jamaica Plain

Mexican restaurant Achilito's Taqueria recently opened its doors, offering tacos, burritos and bowls, along with a brunch and takeout menu.
Look for the lime chicken burrito or bowl, marinated with lime and jalapeños, and served with rice and beans, pico de gallo, lettuce and chihuahua cheese.
While you dine, enjoy a mural of famed Mexican painter Frida Kahlo.
Achilito's Taqueria is off to a strong start with a current Yelp rating of 4.5 stars out of six reviews.
Yelper Charles S. wrote, "Definitely still figuring their cadence out, but their ingredients are fresh. They also have a wider variety of food options to choose from than your typical taqueria."
And Carolyn B. wrote, "Everything was clearly very fresh and perfectly seasoned and tasty. Additionally, the place could not have been cleaner and the chef and employees could not have been friendlier."
Achilito's Taqueria is open from 11 a.m.–10 p.m. on Monday-Saturday and 11 a.m.–9 p.m. on Sunday.
Casa Caña

Casa Caña is a cocktail bar and restaurant that offers Latin American and Caribbean cuisine.
Enjoy the sounds of modern Latin music, while its murals, blue‐green color scheme and Romeo y Julieta cigar boxes take you back to Havana.
This spot has an extensive menu with breakfast, brunch, dinner, dessert and cocktail offerings. Try the grilled black sea bass with pineapple salsa and cilantro served with rice and beans.
Casa Caña currently holds four stars out of 20 reviews on Yelp, indicating good reviews.
Yelper Lucien K., who reviewed the eatery on Sept. 15, wrote, "The entrance is colorful and inviting, the décor is well done, modern and understated in the best way, but with enough flourishes to keep the eye occupied, if not entertained."
And Justin B. wrote, "There are two eggs Benedict offerings, one being the Cuban style with roasted pork instead of ham. Savory and tasty meat with no fat, a crisp English muffin base, good hollandaise sauce and well poached eggs. The star of the meal."

Dos Diablos Taco Bar

Dos Diablos Taco Bar is a two-in-one restaurant and bar offering tacos, ceviche, beer and cocktails.
Look for the lightly battered crispy avocado taco with corn salsa, red cabbage and chipotle mayo.
Yelpers are still warming up to Dos Diablos Taco Bar, which currently holds 3.5 stars out of seven reviews.
Melissa B., who visited the new establishment on Oct. 18, wrote, "My favorite taco was the pesce del dia, a fish served with cabbage slaw, pickled serrano, pico de gallo and creamy lime. My go-to drink is the paloma. I like that they use the grapefruit soda rather than juice. It is a fun twist on the drink."
