There's a brand-new Mexican restaurant in town. Located at 296 Larpenteur Ave. E. in Payne-Phalen, the new arrival is called Casamigos Mexican Restaurant.
Serving beer, wine and sangria in addition to tacos, quesadillas, burritos and more, Casamigos Mexican Restaurant offers guests a large array of dining options, complete with a dessert menu. A separate lunch menu is available from 11 a.m.–3 p.m. daily.
With a five-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp so far, the new addition has already made a good impression on diners.
Bob A., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Oct. 6, wrote, "Tasty carnitas. It was good without any salsa, but there was an array of sauce bottles on the table, so I tried them in different combinations. Spicy! Yum."
Yelper Jon M. added, “The space is intimate and clean. The service was attentive and friendly. The chips and salsa were fresh and flavorful, and our entrees were terrific."
And Yelper Libby K. wrote, "The guacamole is awesome, and the burrito was huge and smothered in queso. You can also get a giant, frosty Pacifico (or something else from a really awesome selection of beers)."
Casamigos Mexican Restaurant is now open from 11 a.m.–10 p.m. Tue–Sat and 11 a.m.–9 p.m. Sun and Mon.
