A new chicken shop has debuted in the neighborhood. Located at 43 Northern Ave. in South Boston, the newcomer is called Fuku Boston Seaport.

The first Fuku location outside of New York for restaurateur David Chang’s Momofuku Restaurant Group, this eatery offers fried chicken sandwiches, salads and slushies.

Look for the spicy fried chicken sandwich with a habanero chicken thigh, pickle, butter and potato roll. Craving something simple? Try the chicken fingers and fries.

With a 4.5-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp so far, Fuku Boston Seaport seems to be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.

Yelper Andrew H. wrote, “First try was a success. Chicken sandwich was all I hoped for, a crispy juicy fried chicken thigh with lettuce and a pickle."

And Tina D. wrote, "The wings are really good. Awesome retention of moisture and love the selection of flavors. But $8 for four pieces is a little steep."

Head on over to check it out: Fuku Boston Seaport is open from 11 a.m.–9 p.m. daily.
