Craving pizza? You're in luck: a new business has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Located at 4540 W. Bailey Boswell Road, Suite 180, the fresh arrival is called MOD Pizza. The fast casual chain, originally from Seattle, has only recently expanded to DFW.
The pizza place offers personal pies that are freshly baked in a brick oven. You can either choose from a list of pre-configured pizzas or build your own by selecting your ingredients as you move down the line. Regardless, all pies are the same price with no upcharges for additional toppings.
Signature pies include the Mad Dog with pepperoni, mild sausage and ground beef; the Tristan with asiago, roasted red peppers, mushrooms and pesto; and the Jasper with mushrooms and spicy chicken sausage. (See the full menu here.)
With a 4.5-star rating out of 18 reviews on Yelp so far, MOD Pizza is on its way to developing a local fan base.
