A new breakfast and brunch spot has opened up shop in the neighborhood. The fresh arrival, called Snooze, an A.M. Eatery, is located at 2150 W. Seventh St., Suite 108. This is the chain's first location in Fort Worth, though there are two other outposts in the Metroplex over in Dallas.
The cafe offers dishes like the Breakfast Pot Pie with rosemary sausage gravy over a puff pastry, topped with an egg any style; the Chili Verde Benny with your choice of slow-cooked pulled pork or barbacoa-style beef, topped with a poached egg, green chili hollandaise and cotija cheese; and the Havana Daydreaming sandwich that is stuffed with pork, shaved ham, Gruyere cheese, homemade pickles and an egg with cream cheese hollandaise Dijon mustard. The new addition has already attracted fans thus far, with a five-star rating out of 15 reviews on Yelp.
Amanda J., who was among the first to review it on October 24, wrote, "I woke up nice and early to help the new Fort Worth location kick off their grand opening to the public and I was met with smiling faces, hot coffee, fun music and great vibes. This place behaved like a seasoned breakfast spot at 10 a.m. on a busy Saturday — but it was 6:45 a.m. on a Wednesday."
Reggie T. noted, "The service was excellent, the food was perfect and the drinks are awesome! The manager came and suggested the breakfast gravy and it made a great meal even better!"
