A new deli, offering sandwiches, burgers, breakfast and more, has opened up shop in the neighborhood. Called Deli News, the newcomer is located at 3685 Preston Road.

On the menu, you'll find dishes like the Hungarian goulash (chunks of meat stewed in a gravy and topped with carrots, then served over egg noodles), the baked meat loaf (with thick brown gravy, mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables) and the roast beef brisket (with brown gravy, potato pancakes and one side). Sandwiches include the corned beef, the pastrami and the Reuben. It also offers burgers and sausage plates.

With a 3.5-star rating out of 15 reviews on Yelp so far, the new deli has made a solid start.

Trish W., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on October 20, wrote, "I ordered pancakes, bacon and scrambled eggs. My food was delicious and was exactly how I ordered it. The ambiance of the restaurant is your typical New York-style deli. In the chef case, you can buy delicious items to-go, such as whitefish salad, various cream cheeses with your bagels, egg salad and, my favorite, their tuna salad!"

Yelper Alex M. added, “This place is the best deli sandwich shop in the DFW area. This is their second location. You need to try their Reubens and bagels here."
