Minneapolis-based roaster Peace Coffee has opened a new shop downtown. Located at 901 S. Marquette Ave. in the AT&T Tower, this is its fourth outpost, including two spots in Capella Tower.

The roastery features a wide variety of fair trade and organic beans, including the dark and chocolatey Guatemalan roast; the smoky and sweet Tree Hugger blend; and the light orange and hibiscus Ethiopian. Drip coffees and other caffeinated beverages are also on offer at this location as are small bites such as pastries.

With a five-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp so far, Peace Coffee seems to be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.

Pranathi T., who reviewed the new spot on Oct. 5, wrote, "A great place to hang out and work or study! Such a bright, open space with lots of seating. Got their drip coffee, which was amazing and a great price too!"

And Barry G. wrote, "What a great addition to the AT&T Tower, long overdue. The coffee is way better than the Caribou store nearby."

Head on over to check it out: Peace Coffee is open from 6 a.m.–4 p.m. on weekdays. (It's closed on weekends.)
