A new spot to score burgers and beer has opened for business in the neighborhood. The new arrival, called Rodeo Goat, is located at 641 Powell Lane. This is the restaurant group's fourth location, including the original eatery in Fort Worth and Dallas and Houston outposts.

Burgers include the Chaca Oaxaca (beef and chorizo patty, avocado, pico de gallo, fried egg, queso fresco and Tabasco mayo) and the Salted Sow (beef and Italian sausage patty, prosciutto, beefsteak tomato, basil pesto, mozzarella and balsamic mayo). Order the Cheese Fries Surprise as an appetizer — fries buried under chili, cheese, bacon and jalapeños — and finish up with a milkshake, which you can spike with alcohol. (See the full menu here.)

The eatery regularly comes up with new burgers, pitting them against one another in a burger battle. Each order equals one vote, with the winner possibly earning a spot on the regular menu.

Rodeo Goat has already attracted fans thus far, with a five-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp.

Curtis M., who was the first Yelper to review the new spot on Oct. 10, wrote, "Casual atmosphere, cold drinks and awesome burgers. The chips and queso are a meal themselves. I had the the Hot Bastard and the flavor of the spices hit just right: subtle, warm and then fiery!"

Sam W. noted, "A great addition to East Plano! Almost 20 burgers on this menu, with a full bar and milkshakes and other stuff too."

Interested? Stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood. Rodeo Goat is open from 11 a.m.–11 p.m. on Monday-Thursday and Sunday, and 11 a.m.–midnight on Friday and Saturday.
