Brewed+Pressed
1775 Payne St., Near East

Brewed+Pressed is a shop and eatery that offers juice, coffee, shakes and a menu of healthful fare. Its original location is in Uptown.
Specializing in raw, cold-pressed juices, you'll see options like the Vivid Green (celery, dandelion, spinach, kale, parsley and lime), the Deep Roots (carrot, apple, beet, lemon, ginger and turmeric) and the Endless Summer (watermelon, watermelon rind, pineapple, cilantro and pink salt). Brewed+Pressed currently holds four stars out of five reviews on Yelp, indicating good reviews.
Janie K., who reviewed it on Oct. 9, wrote, "They have a wide variety of drinks, from coffees, teas and juices, each with their own unique taste. I always appreciate great customer service and each time I have been there, the people are always friendly and are willing to give recommendations."
B W. noted, "I got the honey cinnamon latte and it was so good! Will definitely be back again to try their juices."
Brewed+Pressed is open from 7 a.m.–9 p.m. on Monday-Wednesday, 7 a.m.–10 p.m. on Thursday-Saturday, and 8 a.m.–8:15 a.m. on Sunday.
Rush Bowls
5331 E. Mockingbird Lane, Suite 140, M Streets

Rush Bowls is serving up juice, smoothies and açaí bowls. Launched in 2004, this is the small chain's first outpost in Dallas.
Look for smoothies like the Jimmy Buffet (mango, strawberry, banana, mango juice and fat-free frozen yogurt), the Lemon Twist (raspberry, cherry, lemonade and fat-free frozen yogurt) and the James & the Giant Peach (peach, strawberry, banana, peach juice and fat-free frozen yogurt).
Yelpers are liking Rush Bowls, which holds 4.5 stars out of 14 reviews.
Lisa A., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Aug. 11, wrote, "Super yummy and so many choices! Fresh fruits, great service and lots of delicious options. A must try!"
Bella C. added, "The bowls here are very good and portions are nice as well. ... Service was fast, friendly and nice. They also offer discounts to SMU students. The atmosphere was modern, hip and new."
Rush Bowls is open from 7 a.m.–8:30 p.m. on Monday-Saturday and 8 a.m.–8:30 p.m. on Sunday.
The Gelato Cone
18208 Preston Road, Suite D6, Far North

The Gelato Cone offers gelato, smoothies and more. Founded in Europe in 1956, the business relocated to Texas a few years ago and has another location in Allen with a third opening soon in Plano, according to its website.
Smoothies include the Exotic Splash (pineapple, mango, banana, orange juice, coconut and yogurt ice cream) and the Happy Mix (kiwi, banana, strawberry, milk and honey yogurt ice cream).
The Gelato Cone is off to a promising start with four stars out of nine reviews on Yelp.
Yelper Aldo Q., who visited the shop on Sept. 26, wrote, "Great selection of flavors! I had a scoop of Ferrero Roche and another one of Red Berries. They were very good. Equally important, the service was awesome."
The Gelato Cone is open from noon–10:30 p.m. on Monday-Thursday and Sunday, and noon–11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
Serve
320 W. Eighth St., Oak Cliff

Serve is a spot to score açaí bowls, coffee, tea, smoothies, sandwiches and more.
If you're interested in a smoothie, expect options such as the Matcha (with pineapple, mango and banana blend), the Blue Mermaid (spirulina, pineapple, mango, nuts and granola) and the Power (cocoa, bananas, plant protein, nut butter and almonds).
Serve appears to be a welcome addition to the neighborhood with 4.5 stars out of 28 reviews on Yelp.
Yelper Janice J., who reviewed it on Sept. 30, wrote, "The coffee shop is located inside what probably used to be someone's home. Inside, there's tons of natural lighting, great background music, lots of seating and a great spot for studying/catch up with friends.
Yelper Danielle S. wrote, "This place is very adorable and the employees were very friendly! My coffee was good and I enjoyed my time"
