Ice cream fans, take heed: there's a new spot in town to get your fix. Called Sweet Science Ice Cream, the new addition is located at 928 Seventh St. West at the Keg and Case Market food hall. It has another scoop shop at the Como Lakeside Pavilion.
Sweet Science uses locally sourced and organic ingredients to create its small batch ice cream, per its website.
Expect flavors like Root Beer Float, Honey Vanilla, White Chocolate Raspberry, Caramel Apple Cider Crisp, Berry Crumble, Lemongrass Ginger Bark and more. See the full flavor list here.
Sweet Science Ice Cream has gotten an enthusiastic response thus far, with a five-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp.
Crystal S., who reviewed the new shop on Sept. 27, wrote, "We stopped here recently while exploring Keg and Case. What a cool space they have. I love the wall of ice cream scoops (it's an Instagram hot spot for sure ) and the little seating area they have right across the ice cream bar."
And Elana S. wrote, "Can literally taste the love and hard work that goes into every bite! From the fresh oatmeal crisp to the glorious homemade caramel drippings, I love that everything is made from scratch."
