On the hunt for a new sushi bar that's open late? Look no further than this new arrival. Called Temaki Sushi, it is located at 6135 N. 35th Ave., Suite 133, in Alhambra.
The restaurant comes courtesy of Jose Camano and Jose Castillo, who have more than 20 years of experience in the sushi industry, according to the eatery's website.
The sushi menu features maki rolls, nigiri and sashimi, as well as signature rolls such as the El Noble, with crab mix, shrimp tempura and cucumber inside and spicy salmon, avocado and sweet chile sauce on top.
Temaki Sushi also serves a wide selection of Japanese fare, including beef teriyaki, chicken katsu and ramen. (You can view the menus here.)
With a 4.5-star rating out of six reviews on Yelp so far, the new sushi bar seems to be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.
Evelyn G., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Oct. 20, wrote, "Customer service is awesome and food is amazing! I will definitely recommend to my friends and family!"
And Alkisti R. wrote, "We were pleasantly surprised at how clean the place was and how fresh the food was."
