Hoodline crunched the numbers to find the top poke eateries in Phoenix, using both Yelp data and our own secret sauce to produce a ranked list of where to venture when cravings strike.
1. Coconut's Fish Cafe

Topping the list is Coconut's Fish Cafe. Located at 16640 N. Scottsdale Road in Paradise Valley, the seafood restaurant is the highest rated poke spot in Phoenix, boasting 4.5 stars out of 815 reviews on Yelp.
Coconut's Fish Cafe was established in Maui in 2009, later opening in the Phoenix area in 2013.
Try the Ahi Poke with avocado, sesame seeds and a side of taro chips. The menu also features a variety of taco combinations, including the taco mountain with either fish, shrimp, steak, chicken or veggies and topped with salsa and cheese.
Seafood lovers can get their fish blackened or grilled with butter, salt and pepper, Asian seasonings, lemon butter and more.
"This is the greatest seafood around. You can't go wrong with any of the dishes," wrote Yelper Leanna L.
2. Koi Poke - Arcadia

Next up is Camelback East's Koi Poke - Arcadia, situated at 4280 E. Indian School, Suite 108. With five stars out of 90 reviews on Yelp, the Hawaiian spot, which offers poke and more, has proven to be a local favorite.
Koi Poke allows you to build your own poke bowl. Start with a base of either white or brown rice and spring mix, then choose between salmon, yellowtail, spicy tuna, Hawaiian tuna, shrimp, octopus, lobster or tofu. Top off your bowl with either cucumber, jalapeño, edamame, green onion or ginger and then dress it with wasabi aioli, citrus ponzu or champagne butter.
Finish your meal with mochi ice cream, available in pistachio, blood orange, chocolate, green tea, vanilla or mango.

3. Ocean Poke

Camelback East's Ocean Poke, located at 3619 E. Indian School Road, is another top choice, with Yelpers giving the restaurant 4.5 stars out of 227 reviews.
On the menu, you'll have the option of selecting signature poke bowl combinations or building your own. Try the Heat Check bowl with white rice, spicy tuna, cucumber, jalapeño, wasabi, green onion, daikon sprouts, chili flakes, togarashi and cilantro jalapeño ponzu.
In addition to poke, this eatery also has acai bowls. Build your own or choose between the Fully Loaded bowl or the OPC Acai bowl with peanut butter, bananas, granola and coconut flakes. Wash it all down with a kombucha on tap.
"This is a good poke bowl. The ingredients are fresh and I love that they have quinoa and kale as base options," said Yelper Mansi R.

4. Poké Catcher

Poké Catcher, a Hawaiian spot in Encanto, is another much-loved go-to, with 4.5 stars out of 88 Yelp reviews. Head over to 49 W. Thomas Road to see for yourself.
For your poke bowl, choose between proteins like ahi tuna, octopus, coconut chicken, spicy crab or sesame beef. Poké Catcher also has several wraps with either Thai chicken, beef, barbecue pork or veggies.
"This is hands-down the best poke place around. I have developed a serious poke addiction since finding Poke Catcher!" said Yelper Rachael V.
5. Poke Bar

Then there's Poke Bar, which has earned 4.5 stars out of 79 reviews on Yelp. It's located at 3009 W. Agua Fria Freeway, Suite 3, in Deer Valley.
According to its website, all of Poke Bar's fish is delivered daily. Start off your poke bowl with a base of either white or brown rice, tortilla chips, noodles or mixed greens. Then add in tuna, octopus, scallops, shrimp or salmon and choose your mix-ins and sauce.
For dessert, cool off with one of Poke Bar's macaron ice cream sandwiches.
