
A new spot for ramen and Japanese curry has opened up shop in the neighborhood. Zundo Ramen And Donburi, is located at 220 W. 12th St. in Over-The-Rhine.
According to its website, the restaurant offers a modern take on traditional ramen. Chef Han Lin also operates the well-established Mei in Montgomery.
Starters include home-made gyoza, deep-fried soft shell crab, and fried squid legs.
For dinner, choose between a variety of Japanese curry dishes and several choices for ramen, including the tonkotsu ramen with thick creamy pork broth, roast pork, soft boiled egg and green onion.
Zundo Ramen And Donburi has already attracted fans thus far, with a 4.5-star rating out of 22 reviews on Yelp.
Mark B., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on September 26, wrote, "Whoa. You've finally done it, Cincinnati. I no longer have to drive 90 minutes to the excellent Menya Ramen in Dublin, OH for perfect ramen."
Yelper Stephen C. added, "Zundo Ramen and Donburi has surpassed our expectations. There are a lot of new drinks and food options to try for repeat visits."
