'Composers of Boston' at North End Music & Performing Arts Center 

The North End Music & Performing Arts Center (NEMPAC) opens its 2018-2019 season with a program honoring works of composers living in or influenced by Boston. Featured composers include John Harbison, Scott Wheeler, Tom Cipullo, David Sisco and Gabriel Kahane.

When: Friday, November 16, 7:30-9 p.m.

CRIB at Good Life

Enjoy two parties in one building with CRIB. Supersmash Broz spin bounce house tunes on the top floor. DJ Big Bear and WHERE'S NASTY play R&B in the basement.

A Celtic Sojourn Live Broadcast

See radio in the making as host Brian O'Donovan of Celtic Sojourn broadcasts live from the WGBH Studio at the Boston Public Library. The afternoon will combine live in-studio and prerecorded Celtic performances.
