Sakana is a sushi bar, that recently opened at 983 Massachusetts Ave. in Mid-Cambridge.
Sakana specializes in everything sushi while also offering main entrées, soups, salads and a few dessert items. Try a seaweed salad and five pieces of nigiri and six pieces of spicy tuna roll sushi. Or go for the spicy seafood soup with shrimp, shiitake mushroom, Napa cabbage, tofu, crab stick and scallions. For dessert, try the crème brûlée that’s served with mixed berries.

A new addition to Riverside, Pavement Coffeehouse is a cafe, offering coffee, tea and more that's located at 1350 Massachusetts Ave..
The locally-owned coffee shop serves freshly roasted specialty-coffee, homemade bagels, tea and sandwiches. Start the morning off with a red eye coffee or a Spanish latte. Pair any cup of coffee beverage or tea with a bagel. Pavement Coffeehouse's varied list of bagels available are: plain, multigrain everything, sesame, jalapeño, onion, cinnamon raisin, multigrain and the weekend special bagel.
