Ready for some child-like fun? Check out the new offering from Lavatory, located at 4700 N. 12th St. in Camelback East.
The Lavatory consists of six rooms yet the only one open at the moment is The Pit — an adult-sized ball pit. It is 4 feet deep and features 120,000 glowing spheres. The other five rooms are still under construction and will open in January.
On its website, the immersive art space says the new experience is "big and loud and there is always something strange going on." Buy tickets here.
With a 4.5-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp so far, the installation has been warmly received by patrons.
Brad H., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Nov. 25, wrote, "This place belongs in a category by itself. It's incredibly unique and such a fun experience. I highly recommend doing this with your friends!"
And Christina N. wrote, "A ball pit for adults, Lavatory Phx definitely was quite a unique experience! Like no other place or interactive room I've visited, this place makes it feel like you're entering the party of the year! Such upbeat music and vibes it makes you want to dance your way through the pit."
Interested? Lavatory is open from 7–9 p.m. on Monday, Thursday and Sunday and 7–10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. It's closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.
