Fast-casual Tex-Mex chain Baja Fresh Mexican Grill  has returned to the Phoenix market. According to ABC15, this is one of several new locations planned for the area through 2019.

On the menu, look for tacos, burritos, quesadillas and fajitas. Yelpers rave about the original Baja taco that includes a choice of meat and is topped with salsa, onions and cilantro as well the Baja bowl, which has rice, beans, roasted veggies, onions, cilantro and a choice of chicken, pork, steak or shrimp.

With a four-star rating out of 37 reviews on Yelp, Baja Fresh Mexican Grill is off to a promising start.

Kristin W., who reviewed it on Sept. 6, noted, "Baja Fresh is back. I went in on a busy weekday afternoon [and] business was booming. I ordered the steak nachos that are huge and can easily feed two people. ... You know how you sometimes get nachos and all the chips in the center are bare? Not here. Everything was covered and every bite was a little different."

Yelper Gena D. wrote, "Wow, the Chicken Ultimo burrito was delicious. I was amazed at how well the vegetables were cooked. Most restaurants don't cook them long enough for my liking, but this place does it perfect."

Baja Fresh Mexican Grill is open from 11 a.m.–9 p.m. on Monday-Saturday and 11 a.m.–8 p.m. on Sunday.
