According to Eater Boston, "Sakana offers sashimi, nigiri and makimono, with varieties ranging from salmon and tuna to sweet potato and avocado. Also, while sushi is the main item on Sakana’s menu, there are also salads, soups, gyoza, tempura and assorted entrees, including donburi (rice bowls), chicken katsu and teriyaki."
The fresh addition has received an enthusiastic response thus far, with a five-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp.
Grace O., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on November 8, wrote, "Sakana is an amazing addition to the neighborhood! I had a beautifully arranged sashimi lunch platter which came with sushi rice, miso soup and salad for $12."
And Helene L. wrote, "The food is outstanding, among the best sushi I have tasted. Main dishes for non-sushi eaters were also excellent. Even the miso soup was outstanding."
