Dirty Martini

New to 24 University Ave. NE, Suite 125, in East Bank is Dirty Martini, a bar that features a rotating musical ensemble of DJ Wicked, DJ Justin Styles, DJ Matty Matt and more.
The bar is pouring martinis, signature cocktails, beer, wine and spirits. Look for notable options such as the Penicillin with scotch, lemon juice and ginger and honey syrups; the bourbon-based Gold Rush with lemon and orange juice; and the Citrus Spritz with Tattersall Bitter Orange, lemon juice and simple syrup. Animales

Now open at 1121 Quincy St. NE is Animales, a new food truck serving barbecue and more located behind Able Seedhouse + Brewery. It comes courtesy of local chef Jon Wipfli, City Pages reports. Stop by for barbecued pork, chicken, brisket and sausages. Tacos, side dishes and appetizers are also on offer.
Taqueria Y Birrieria Las Cuatro Milpas

Wander over to 1520 E. Lake St. in East Phillips and you'll find Taqueria Y Birrieria Las Cuatro Milpas, which features traditional Mexican and Latin American options like chicken and beef tacos; a spicy stew with goat meat called birria; and milanesa (breaded meat fillet) with salad.
Yelper Francisco D. wrote, "These are the best tacos in the Twin Cities! I really recommend the birria ... and everything else. I go here every weekend."
Colita

Now open at 5400 Penn Ave. South in Armatage is Colita, a modern Mexican restaurant offering barbecue and more. According to its website, Colita focuses on the flavors of the Oaxaca region and "integrates the incredibly diverse flavors of Mexico with barbecue and smoking techniques from all over the world."
Both cold and hot dishes are available. Look for chilled choices like the chicken liver memelita, tuna tostado and fried green tomatoes. Warm plates include seared scallops and fish tacos. Take a look at the full menu here.
