Clutch Brewing Company started as a hobby between owners and friends Jordan Standish and Max Boeke. After years of home brewing, research and experimentation, they recently set up shop at the historic Schmidt Brewery Complex, an upper-level addition to Keg and Case.

Look for popular craft beers like the malty ale Barnstomp with hints of black currant; the Sweet Jane milk stout with a coffee finish; or the chai-infused rye beer Chrysalis. Check out the brewery's website for a complete list of offerings.

With a four-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp, Clutch Brewing Company has been getting positive attention.

Yelper Molly M., who reviewed it on Nov. 11, wrote, "This brewery is the top floor of the Keg and Case Market building. It affords an open view of the market below and offers casual seatings around the top floor."

And Ben S. wrote, "This is an awesome setup. The brewery is on an upper level of other little shops. The lower level has a market feel with little food shops (pizza, ice cream, wine bar, etc).

Clutch Brewing Company is open from 3–10 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, 3 p.m.–midnight on Friday, noon–midnight on Saturday, and noon–10 p.m. on Sunday. (It's closed on Monday and Tuesday.)
