Homage and Celebration – Horszowski Trio

First, the Horszowski Trio is playing Friday at the Edward M. Pickman Concert Hall. The concert features works by Nadia Boulanger, a renowned Longy professor, in memory of her sister Lili; Latvian composer Peter Vasks, celebrating the great French composer Messiaen; and Tchaikovsky, who wrote a work dedicated to his mentor, the composer Nikolay Rubinstein.

The Sound of Silence – Christopher Taylor

Next, Christopher Taylor is performing The Sound of Silence on Saturday also at the Edward M. Pickman Concert Hall. He will play two works constituting the piano variations - Bach's Goldberg Variations and Rzewski's The People United Will Never Be Defeated.

Coro-Dante Christmas Concert

Lastly, the All-Italian Repertoire Chorus of the Dante Alighieri Society is performing the Coro-Dante Christmas Concert on Sunday at the Dante Alighieri Society. It will sing traditional songs and The Legend of the Bridge with professional soloists.
