A new brewpub and traditional American spot has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Called BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse, the newcomer is located at 2631 Edmondson Road in Rookwood. This is one of the national chain restaurant's first locations in the Cincinnati area.
The restaurant serves pizza, burgers, sandwiches and more. Try the barbecue chicken pizza with a hickory-smoked barbecue sauce, red onion and tomatoes; the bacon-guacamole burger with pepper jack cheese and chipotle mayo; or the jambalaya with chicken, shrimp, andouille sausage and more. The new brewpub has gotten good reviews thus far, with a four-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp.
Yelper Mark M., who was the first to review it on Nov. 21, said, “We ordered the brisket bacon burger and fries. The burger was cooked perfectly medium and was delicious. ... Overall a good experience and value for the money.”
And Zaria D. noted, "Ordered the Parmesan-crusted chicken with potatoes and broccoli. My friend got a brisket burger with fries. Overall, the chicken was good. My friend liked the brisket burger and felt like it was a great portion."
