Wondering where to find the best crêperies near you?
Hoodline crunched the numbers to find the top sources of the flat French pancakes in Cincinnati, using both Yelp data and our own secret sauce to produce a ranked list of where to satisfy your cravings.
1. Taste of Belgium

Topping the list is Taste of Belgium. Located at 1801 Race St. in Over-The-Rhine, the bakery is the highest rated crêpe vendor in Cincinnati, boasting 4.5 stars out of 143 reviews on Yelp.
Crêpe enthusiasts will find classic combinations like honey and cinnamon, strawberry and Nutella, and banana and Nutella. However, the bakery is best known for its waffles, which are baked individually in a specialized cast iron press.
According to the Taste of Belgium website, the method is unchanged from when they were invented centuries ago in Belgium. The waffles are made from thick dough and a coarse Belgian beet sugar that caramelizes inside the waffle iron.
Taste of Belgium also has locations at the North Market in Columbus, Ohio and at Great American Ballpark, as the official waffle of the Cincinnati Reds.
2. Buona Terra

Next up is Mt. Lookout's Buona Terra, situated at 1028 Delta Ave. With 4.5 stars out of 143 reviews on Yelp, the crêperie, which also offers gelato and more, has proven to be a local favorite.
The restaurant uses locally sourced farm fresh products and emphasizes supporting local businesses. On the menu, it offers fresh gelato and sorbetto in 24 flavors, plus crêpes, cakes and cookies. There are coffee, espreso, cappuccino and other drinks to wash down all the sweets.
3. Essencha Tea House

Oakley's Essencha Tea House, located at 3212 A Madison Road, is another top choice, with Yelpers giving the tea room and crêperie four stars out of 111 reviews.
In addition to staples such as black, green, oolong, white, rooibos and herbal teas, the establishment also sells packages of different tea to make at home or the office.
The tea house offers both savory crêpes, like the ham and cheese; and sweet ones, like the crêpe with Nutella, strawberries, blueberries and clotted cream topped with powdered sugar and shaved chocolate.
