Stroll past 3749 Nicollet Ave. in Kingfield and you'll find Boludo, a new spot to score empanadas and more. In addition to its signature empanadas, the eatery also also offers pizza, combo platters and salads.

Custom empanadas include the Pollo with chicken, peppers and oregano; the Puerro with creamed leeks and gorgonzola; and the Espinaca with spinach, Fresno peppers and reggianito cheese. Here's the full menu. 

Flamin Thai Cuisine

Flamin Thai Cuisine is a Thai spot that recently opened at 233 Cedar Ave. in Cedar-Riverside. The restaurant has an expansive menu of lunch and dinner fare, including curries, fried rice, stir fry, noodle and rice plates. 

Look out for signature dishes like the Pad Thai Burger with a sunny-side-up egg, cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onion and Pad Thai sauce; Crispy Rice Balls complete with red curry rice, ground pork and shredded coconut; or Boat Noodle Soup in beef broth, served with meatballs and shrimp.

New to 1839 E. 42nd St. in Ericsson is Dulceria Bakery. Expect sweet treats like Mexican brownies with hints of cinnamon and chiles; empanadas filled with seasonal fruits; and garabatos, shortbread cookies filled with caramel.
