Bowl for $1 at Bowlero Corp Centers

Bowlero Christown is hosting Jingle Bowl each day between Saturday, Dec. 22 and Wednesday Jan. 2. Participants who make a donation to the Big Brothers Big Sisters of America will receive one free bowling game to be used between Jan. 3-31. 

Big Brothers Big Sisters of American is a non-profit organization that has been around since 1904 and matches adults with children to form life-lasting relationship in towns and cities across the country.

CREATE: Jr. Soldering

The Arizona Science Center is hosting Jr. Soldering on Saturday afternoon. Kids ages 8-12 will learn the basic skills of soldering and how the techniques are used in science, engineering and math professions. After learning how to use the tools and follow safety precautions, students will get the chance to solder their own projects.

Soldering is defined "as the process of joining two pieces of metals using a filler metal, known as solder, having a low melting point below the melting point of the work piece" according to www.engineersgarage.com.

When: Saturday, Dec. 22, 2–4 p.m.
