Pizza fans, take heed: there's a new spot in town to get your fix. Called i Fratelli Pizza, the new addition is located at 1907 8th Ave. in Southside. Established in 1987 by the Cole brothers in Irving, the pizza place has expanded into a franchise that now has multiple locations across Texas. The outpost in Fort Worth is among the newest and latest to open its doors.
Order from one of the many specialty pizzas offered on the menu, such as the Big Brother with Italian sausage, pepperoni, bell peppers, green onion and mushrooms; the Staff's Special with grilled chicken, artichoke hearts and roma tomatoes; and the Del Blanco with white sauce, breakfast bacon, fresh spinach and roma tomatoes. (The full menu can be viewed here.)
So far i Fratelli Pizza has three reviews on Yelp, but it's still early days.
Yelper Gary M., who was the first to review it on Nov. 9, wrote, “ One of the best tasting pizzas I have had in awhile. ... Extremely good thin crust meat pizza!"
Harol R., however, said, "Pretty underwhelming pizza and that's all there is except for a couple of salads. Carryout or deliver only, no dine in."
Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: i Fratelli Pizza is open from 11 a.m.–10 p.m. on Monday–Thursday and Sunday, and 11 a.m.–11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
