A new cocktail bar and Mexican spot has debuted in the neighborhood. Located at 2722 N. Fitzhugh Ave. in Lower Greenville, the fresh arrival is called El Bolero Fitzhugh.
With one other location in Dallas, this Mexican eatery serves up lunch, dinner and brunch. Expect tacos, fajitas, enchiladas and more on the menu. Try its signature cocktail, the Oilman, which is made with El Tesoro Reposado, Patron citronage orange, gold stars, gold salt rim, charred agave and rock candy.
The new cocktail bar and eatery has received solid reviews thus far, with a 3.5-star rating out of eight reviews on Yelp.
Torre C., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Dec. 12, wrote, "The carne asada was Wagyu and super delicious and flavorful. The french toast was bigger than my head and topped with the creamiest marscapone I've ever had. The avocado toast was loaded with toppings and poached eggs. I didn't get to try a bite because it was scarfed down in an instant."
Yelper Britany C. added, “El Bolero is such a beautiful restaurant! It is very clean and neat. The food is delicious with a very authentic Mexican taste.”
