Looking to try the best pubs in town?
Hoodline crunched the numbers to find the top pubs in Phoenix, using both Yelp data and our own secret sauce to produce a ranked list of where to fill the bill.
1. Windsor

Topping the list is Windsor. Located at 5223 N. Central Ave. in Alhambra, the pub, New American and breakfast and brunch spot is the most popular pub in Phoenix, boasting four stars out of 1,115 reviews on Yelp.
Yelper John T., who reviewed it on Nov. 14, said, "Probably the best spot in Phoenix for a lunch! That fish and chips, man. It was off the hook, fresh off the hook. Tender flakes of fish and perfectly fried fries coupled with creamy tangy tartar sauce. There's really nothing better."
2. The Phoenix Ale Brewery Central Kitchen

Next up is Camelback East's The Phoenix Ale Brewery Central Kitchen, situated at 5813 N. Seventh St. With 4.5 stars out of 310 reviews on Yelp, the brewery, pub and traditional American spot has proven to be a local favorite.
David P. wrote, "Great atmosphere, excellent service, plenty of parking in the back. Down to earth people and always available to give tips. Pricing for food is fair and the quality is amazing. Nice place to grab a quick snack or have a get together."
3. The Rooster Tavern

Paradise Valley's The Rooster Tavern, located at 14202 N. Scottsdale Road, is another top choice, with Yelpers giving the dive bar, pub and New American spot 4.5 stars out of 196 reviews.
Matt F., who reviewed it on Dec. 30, said, "The Rooster has quickly become one of my favorite bars in Scottsdale. Great service and the food is really tasty. The owner is always popping around to welcome people and laugh a little with them. People are in a good mood there."
4. Cornish Pasty

Cornish Pasty, a pub and British spot in Central City, is another go-to, with four stars out of 359 Yelp reviews. Head over to 7 W. Monroe St. to see for yourself.
Shawn W. said, "Obsessed! This is our go-to when we are out late bar hopping and want a pasty. Plus they serve food until two in the morning!"
5. Bikini Lounge

Over in Central City, check out Bikini Lounge, which has earned four stars out of 205 reviews on Yelp. You can find the dive bar, lounge and pub at 1502 Grand Ave.
Mary D. wrote, "One of my favorite low key spots were you can drink and dance or just hangout and play pool. You see a huge range of people and is such a great hideout after a long day. Not your typical dive bar and has great music."
6. Casey Jones Grill

Finally, there's Casey Jones Grill, a Paradise Valley favorite with four stars out of 168 reviews. Stop by 2848 E. Bell Road to hit up the pub, sports bar and traditional American spot the next time the urge strikes.
David M., who reviewed it on Jan. 2, wrote, "Best wings in Phoenix! Casey's is a great place to watch the game or mow down some tasty bar food. They elevate traditional pub fare with their special brand of care and love."
