Mirabelle

Mirabelle is a downtown wine bar and French restaurant that recently opened at 114 S.E. First St.
It's the latest offering by French chef Georges Berger, formerly the owner of Chocolate Fashion in Coral Gables. In addition to wine and chocolate pairings, the menu features grilled meat, seafood and veggie dinner plates — like an eight-ounce filet mignon served on foie gras toast with truffle sauce — a range of sandwiches for lunch and egg dishes at brunch.
Other highlights include the pancakes, made with your choice of blueberries, Nutella or chocolate banana; pastry puffs filled with escargot (sautéed snails); and a sandwich filled with sautéed duck breast, apple and caramelized onion.
Palermo Restaurant Wine & Bar

Palermo Restaurant Wine & Bar is an Argentine spot that recently opened at 4582 N.E. Second Ave. in the Little Haiti.
The family-run restaurant serves traditional Argentinian fare — including empanadas, pizzas, grilled meats and pasta dishes. Diners can also explore the vast selection of wines in the intimate, yet family friendly, dining room.
Atelier 900

Atelier 900 is a new Mediterranean restaurant and bar that's located at 900 Biscayne Blvd., Unit 101 B.
The modern eatery serves lunch, dinner and weekend brunch, plus a variety of cocktails and wines.
Menu highlights include the grilled octopus and the braised lamb taquitos for starters; the Blood and Sand cocktail, combining Campari, orange juice and mint; and the ricotta tortellini entree, featuring squash, goat cheese and brown butter.
Cafe La Trova

Cafe La Trova is a Cuban restaurant and cocktail lounge that's made its debut at 971 S.W. Eighth St. in Little Havana. With five stars out of 12 reviews on Yelp, it's off to a strong start.
Combining cocktails by local celebrity mixologist Julio Cabrera with Cuban dishes from James Beard award-winning chef Michelle Bernstein under one roof, Cafe La Trova celebrates Cuba and the American dream, reports MiamiNewTimes.com. By day, it's a cafe offering croquetas, empanadas and pastelitos; at night, the lounge comes alive with bands playing classic Cuban songs and dapper waiters slinging craft cocktails at the bar.
Must-try items on the menu include the white gazpacho soup, paella croquetas, which come with a shot of saffron aioli and seafood caldo; and the Juicy Lucia, a burger stuffed with Manchego and cheddar cheeses, topped with gravy and served on a seeded bun.
