Looking for a new bar to check out? Look no further than this new arrival. Called Hopscotch Craft Beer & Whiskey, the newcomer is located at 251 Calhoun St. in Corryville.
Formerly called Brass Tap, the reinvented spot offers an extensive list of draft beers, scotch and whiskey, as well as wine and cocktails. On tap, expect basic lagers like Pabst Blue Ribbon and Coors, as well as more artisanal selections like the Trees of Tahoe Pale Ale and Dogberry Bray's Brown With Coffee. As for cocktails, try the Hop Scotch Mule made with Tito's Handmade Vodka, Gosling's Ginger Beer and lime.
The kitchen also serves up shareable bites, like pretzels and beer cheese, a caprese grilled cheese sandwich and spiced Texas chili.
Hopscotch Craft Beer & Whiskey has gotten an enthusiastic response thus far, with a 4.5-star rating out of seven reviews on Yelp.
