Theft and vandalism led the increase in crime incidents. Theft rose to 18 incidents last week, from 11 the week before. Vandalism went from five to six. Reports of vandalism have continued to grow for the last two weeks.

There was one reported assault last week. That represents a steady state from the previous. There was also one incident of robbery.
Among the few types of offenses that saw a downturn last week, reports of arson went from two to one, and burglary fell from 11 to 10.

There were nine reports of "other" crimes, an increase of one from the previous week. SpotCrime's broad "other" category includes a variety of offenses like fraud, trespassing, public disturbance and traffic violations. SpotCrime data also indicates that 23 arrests were made last week, up from 18 arrests the week before.
Regarding day and time factors, Saturdays, Tuesdays and Sundays produced the most reported crimes last week. The largest increase from the previous occurred on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, while incidents on Sundays went down. After midnight, late morning and early morning saw the most crime.
