A new breakfast and brunch spot, offering coffee, tea and more, has opened for business in the neighborhood. Called Dwell Coffee & Biscuits, the newcomer is located at 3113 S. University Drive, Floor 1, in Bluebonnet Place.
This is the second location for this Burleson-based franchise. The spot serves espresso, matcha and a variety of coffee. Patrons can pair their beverage with a handmade buttermilk biscuit for breakfast. There are seasonal flavors, along with savory and sweet biscuit sandwich options. (Check out the full menu here.)
With a four-star rating out of eight reviews on Yelp so far, Dwell Coffee & Biscuits is on its way to developing a local fan base.
Emonne M., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Jan. 7, wrote, "Incredible matcha latte. Yummy-like-your-grandma's biscuits. Get ready to have your best day ever at Dwell! Recommendations: matcha latte with a cookie dough biscuit."
And Brian J. wrote, "Rejoicing there is a non-Starbucks option again in our neighborhood! The biscuits are amazing. Five dollars for three is good deal. The honey ham, cookie dough and cinnamon frosted were all excellent. My wife had a snickerdoodle latte and an egg and cheese biswich that was very good."
Dwell Coffee & Biscuits is now open from 6 a.m.–10 p..m on weekdays and from 7 a.m.–10 p.m. on weekends.
