A new gay bar and traditional American spot has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Located at 605 W. Osborn Road in Encanto, the fresh arrival is called The Louie.

This spot offers nightly entertainment in its two-bar, two-staged accommodations, including drag shows and go-go dancing. Customers can also play darts, feast on some appetizers or join the dance floor.

During the day, the bar serves hearty options like the Buffalo Chicken Salad, the Corona Battered Fish and Chips and The Louie Burger, with an Angus beef patty topped with cheddar cheese, lettuce, onion and pickles on a brioche bun. (Take a look at the full menu here.)

With a four-star rating out of 11 reviews on Yelp so far, The Louie has gotten a good response.

Veronica M., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Dec. 29, wrote, "It's a about time we got a new gay bar in the Valley! But, let me be clear, everyone is welcomed! Great dancers and drag shows, although logistics still need to be figured out, which is understandable since the space is very new."

And Guillermo G. wrote, "I really enjoyed this place. I love the setup, the staff is nice and I like that they have the pool tables. The place is also clean and it's a lot bigger than I thought it would be."

Head on over to check it out: The Louie is open from 10 a.m.–2 a.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m.–2 a.m. on weekends.
