A new beer bar, offering burgers, food and more, has opened for business in the neighborhood. Located at 620 S. Fourth St., Suite 130 in Downtown East, the new addition is called Bus Stop Burgers & Brewhouse.
The microbrewery, which is near U.S. Bank Stadium, features a vintage bus stop theme and serves burgers, appetizers and dessert pies inspired by the Minnesota State Fair, according to Twin Cities. Snack on an appetizer like the "Super Sized Keg Tots," which has Thousand Island dip or bacon cheddar and beer cheese dip.
Or try one of the signature burgers, such as the "Nashville Hot Gobbler," that blends turkey with Nashville hot seasoning and Tennessee spice, with any cold brew on the side. Craving something sweet? Then indulge in one of the pies such as the banana cream parfait pie with fresh whipped cream.
The new bar is still finding its footing, with a 3.5-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp.
Heidi M., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Jan. 2, wrote, "I ordered the Thai chicken on greens. It's a dressed cabbage salad (not the typical spring greens mix). I appreciated the crunch and would order it this way again...The lemongrass in the burger was really nice, too."
Yelper Aurora B. added, “We went here right before the Bears/Vikings game so it was crowded! I was impressed by how fast we got our food...We had a great time here. Staff was very friendly."
Interested? Stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood. Bus Stop Burgers & Brewhouse is open from 11 a.m.–1 a.m. daily.
