Verbena Parlor + Social House is a nail salon, offering coffee and tea and more.

Kung Fu Tea

Kung Fu Tea is a spot to score bubble tea, coffee, tea, juice and smoothies.

This nationwide franchise has 26 locations in Texas. It serves many varieties of tea, from classics like green and oolong to milk tea and more.  The menu also includes slushies, punch, yogurt and espresso. Try the Cocoa Cream Wow or the rosehip lemonade. (Check out the entire menu here.)

With a 4.5-star rating out of 10 reviews on Yelp, Kung Fu Tea has been getting positive attention.

Yelper Charles H., who reviewed it on Dec. 19, noted, "I had the classic black milk tea and the boba texture was perfect. Tea sweetness was also very appropriate and not too sweet (at normal sugar levels)."

Yelper Kevin Y. wrote, "So glad that Kung Fu Tea has finally migrated towards the downtown Dallas area. Quality is just as perfect as every other Kung Fu tea. The Kung Fu milk tea with boba (30% sugar) continues to be the best bubble tea that I've ever had."

One Sette

One Sette is a bar.

This upscale nightclub offers a huge bar with intimate booth seating inside, as well as open air patio seating that runs almost the entire length of the building. The bar also offers bottle service to select clientele.

One Sette's current rating of 3.5-stars out of six reviews on Yelp indicates the newcomer is getting solid feedback.

This bar sits eight stories up, atop the rooftop of the Canopy by Hilton Dallas Uptown hotel. It offers unobstructed views of the Dallas skyline. Yelp users are excited about Upside West Village, which currently holds 4.5 stars out of three reviews on the site.

Yelper Joe T., who reviewed Upside West Village on Sept. 30, wrote, "Not only is the view one of the best you'll find, but the drink menu is great and so is the staff. Had the spicy watermelon margarita."

Yelper Kelsey M. wrote, "One of the best views we've seen in Dallas (directly faces the downtown skyline), but the drinks are very pricey and there are no happy hour specials."
