Gannon's Tavern is a bar and New American spot.
Expect traditional pub fare on the menu such as burgers and small bites with New England-inspired flavors, like the Wicked Chowdah or lobster Cobb salad, as well as off-beat items like buffalo fried deviled eggs. For entrees, enjoy a wide selection of seafood and fish options, including swordfish milanse, pecan-encrusted halibut or scallops Lucille. Diners can also opt for the ribeye or roasted duck. Complement any meal with a beer from the bar. It also has seven large televisions that play sports.
The drink menu includes draft and bottled craft, domestic and imported beer, wine and spirits.
Gannon's Tavern currently holds four stars out of nine reviews on Yelp, indicating good reviews.
Yelper Ashley G., who reviewed Gannon's Tavern on Dec. 27, wrote, "The decor was warm and inviting. The brick walls [and] wood tables are just perfect. We both ordered beer and it was cold and served quickly. ... As surprised as we were about the decor, we were stunned by the food."
Suzy B. added, "Drinks were good. Even though they had been open less than a week, the food was really good. We had the spicy shrimp, fish & chips, short ribs and the Big Daddy pork chop. All were really good."

On the menu, expect seafood options, including fish tacos, cod, coconut calamari and chorizo mussels, which are braised in Negra Modelo beer. Under the Mexican Street Food portion of the menu, there are slow-roasted duck or chicken in tomatillo verde sauce, ancho-glazed lobster in a chipotle cream sauce, plus tacos, burritos and more.
